Neverland: Utopian or Dystopian
The story of Peter Pan is an escape into a completely different world known as Neverland. Neverland is a place where you can be whatever you want to be. At the same time, Neverland seems to only be a utopian world is the eyes of Peter. For everyone but Peter, the struggles in Neverland are everything but perfect. The lost boys do not even have mothers and they are pretty much just a bunch of followers. They shadow Peter's every move. Captain Hook is just not a good person. In my utopian world, there would be nothing people like that. Everyone would get along and just mess around all the time. Peter Pan loves to kill pirates though but that is why Neverland is built just perfect for Peter because death and violence should not be something that people absolutely need to resort to. Unless violence corners you, you should never need to lash out. He does not want a mother or to grow up or anything but overall a place where deaths are happening is not perfect in my book.

Michael Jackson and Neverland Ranch

Michael Jackson named his home in Santa Barbara Neverland. When Michael was a child he was part of the Jackson 5, a music group with his bothers and sisters, that his father managed. This took up all his time so he could not be a typical child and enjoy playing on the playground or going to the movie theater. He created Neverland so his children and other children could come and be a kid and "never grow up".
